M.A. (China Studies)

An interdisciplinary postgraduate programme examining the transmission of Buddhism from India to China and its transformation into distinctive East Asian traditions. Students trace the cultural, philosophical, and artistic dimensions of Sino-Indian Buddhist exchange, drawing on primary sources in Pali, Sanskrit, and Chinese.
